Some very popular music apps available today have a feature that other types of apps and platforms do not have, at least not to this extent. It is quite cool that a music app can offer you 90 days of access to all the music libraries without having to pay a dime. You can also cancel the subscription before you enter the 4th month, so that money is not automatically charged from your card.

3 free month offers are available only to new users. This means that you will only benefit from this the first time you register an account. Here are the 3 of the most popular music apps that offer a 90 days trial:

Spotify

From all these 3 apps, I only used Spotify, taking advantage of the 3 months free subscription period and then paying a few more months until I decided to stop paying because I wanted to cut down some of the costs. I may come back one day because the app is nice.

It was awesome to have access to so many songs in the car, to be able to create my own playlists, to save the tracks so that they can be used in offline mode, for the time an internet connection is not available.

Apple Music

I didn’t use Apple Music, because I am an Android user, but I was curious to see if there are other apps providing the same 3 months of free premium services like Spotify. It seems that the competition is fierce. If you have never used Apple Music before, you can try its premium features for 90 days before you decide whether to continue or not with the paid subscription.

Tidal

While Spotify and Apple Music are simply offering full features for the 3 months free period, Tidal is a little bit different. If you go on the homepage it shows you 30 days free, but there is an offer that you can take advantage of.

In this offer, you can either choose 90 days of free standard quality music (320kbps, which is enough I would say), or 90 days of free hi-fi quality. The hi-fi option involves surround quality for the music and other interesting features, but it will be more expensive if you eventually decide to pay when the free plan expires.

In case you worry that you will become addicted to the app you choose to try for 3 months, you shouldn’t worry too much. I didn’t become addicted to Spotify. In fact, I didn't use it now for months after. Even if you do become addicted, the monthly cost is small for the value provided.

Note: At the time you are reading this article, the free subscription period that I indicated may be subject to changes, just as the price of the subscription can also change.
